Destinations
Five countries on the schedule, built around the waters our anglers actually book rather than a map we drew first. Each one runs to its own rhythm — some you can book at short notice, some want planning a season ahead.
France
The shortest crossing and the most-booked destination on the schedule. If this is your first European session with your own full setup rather than a hire package, France is the easiest place to start — the departures are frequent and the run is short enough that timings rarely slip.
Venues stretch from the Loire down through the Dordogne, and the range is the point. Big commercials with cabins and an on-site shop, quiet syndicate-style waters, and a great deal in between. Tell us the venue and we will tell you whether we are already going.
Good for: first European trips, full setups, shorter notice.
France departures
Germany
A straightforward run on good roads, which matters more than it sounds. Fewer hours on the road means a tighter delivery window and less time for anything to go sideways.
Big-water venues and quieter forest lakes, generally less commercialised than the French circuit. It tends to appeal to anglers who have done France a few times and want somewhere with fewer people on the bank.
Good for: repeat trips, bigger water, anglers who want quiet.

Austria and Croatia
Two very different sessions, and the two where telling us exactly where you are fishing matters most — access varies a great deal more than it does on the French circuit.
Austria
Clear water and alpine surroundings — a different kind of session, and one where what you bring matters more, because conditions can turn quickly.
Access can be tighter than a French commercial. Delivery is to the water, but the nearest practical point for the van is occasionally a short barrow from the swim rather than the swim itself. Tell us the venue early and we will be straight with you about it.
Good for: clear-water fishing, scenery, anglers who pack properly.
Austria departures
Croatia
Warm-water catfish and carp, and a considerably longer run than the northern European trips. The fishing is the draw; the logistics are the reason people send gear rather than fly with it.
Fewer departures than France or Germany, and the ones that do go tend to fill early. Worth planning further ahead than you think you need to.
Good for: catfish, warm-weather sessions, planned-ahead trips.
Croatia departures
Romania
The Danube Delta, and the longest trip on the schedule. It is also the one where sending your gear by road makes the most obvious difference — flight options are limited and baggage allowances are unforgiving for anyone taking a proper setup.
Long lead times, and a departure that gets planned rather than slotted in. If you are thinking about it for next season, start the conversation now rather than in the spring.
Good for: the big trip, full setups, anglers who plan a year out.
Romania departuresFishing somewhere that is not on this list? Say so anyway. Routes get added when there is a vanful going, and a fair bit of the schedule was built exactly that way — one angler asked, and enough others wanted the same water.

About the routes
If yours is not here, ring and ask. You will get the person who drives the van.
Do you go anywhere that is not on this list?
Often. The five here are the established routes, not the limit. If enough gear is going the same way it becomes a departure, so the useful thing is to tell us the water and the dates even when nothing on the schedule matches.
How do you decide which destinations to run?
Demand, and whether a vanload can be filled. A route needs enough anglers heading to roughly the same place at roughly the same time to make the run work. That is why asking early matters more than waiting to see what appears.
Do you deliver to the swim or just to the venue?
To the water you are fishing wherever the van can reach it, which on most French and German venues means the swim or very close to it. On tighter access — Austria in particular — the nearest practical point may be a short barrow away. We will tell you which before you book, not on the day.
Can one trip cover more than one venue?
Sometimes, if the venues are close enough together to make sense on one run. It depends entirely on the geography, so ask with both venues named and we will give you a straight answer.
How far ahead do the long-haul trips need booking?
Further than France. Croatia and Romania run less frequently and fill earlier, and both take more planning at our end. If a date matters to you on either, treat it as a season-ahead decision rather than a few months.
